Specialized Services

I am a certified K-12 Intervention specialist with a 5 year professional license. I’m highly qualified to teach in math, reading, science and social studies. I have done in home and remote tutoring for 15 years in all core subjects. I’ve been teaching students with all various special needs for 13 years in all educational settings. I have been approved by the State of Ohio as a provider for the Jon Peterson Special Needs(JPSN), which students may receive up to $27,000 annually for services outlined in their IEP , and Autism Provide

Jon Peterson Scholarship (JPSN)

M&M Learning Solutions is a state approved provider. A qualified student can receive up to $27,000 annually for services based on their individual education plan. Applicants can apply year-round. Once the scholarship is awarded, it will expire at the end of the fiscal year (June 30). Families who want to re-apply can proceed if the child meets the eligibility criteria.

The chart below shows the maximum amount of scholarship a student may receive in Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN). Parents will be responsible if the cost exceeds the scholarship amount.

Autism Scholarship

The Autism Scholarship Program provides scholarships for children to receive special education services through a private or alternative provider. The chart below evidences the maximum scholarship amount for the scholarship program. The child must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire school year to receive the full scholarship amount. Parents are responsible for costs exceeding these amounts in addition to services not identified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP).

I Offer Two Types of
Academic Programs for JPSN

Current IEP with his/her school district, child must be of school age K-age 18, child must not be attending a public or charter school, family must select a provider who applies on family’s behalf such as M&M Learning Solutions.

Homeschool Assessments

Assessments can be provided in-person or virtual. Homeschool portfolios is a collection of work samples that shows child’s progress and content covered from during the school year.

M&M Learning Solutions provides tutoring in all core content areas. This can include intervention to bridge gaps in areas of weaknesses or enrichment to help students reach their highest potential.
